
TÎ-Ï Festival
Founded in 2017 by Central African artist Idylle Mamba and organized by DUKE’ZIKI (“Laboratory of Music and Art”), the festival provides a platform for young Central African and pan-African artists to create, share, and grow.
1st edition: December 2–3, 2017 — launched in Douala, Cameroon, to major public acclaim YouTube+10Idma+10Ti-Î Festival+10.
2nd edition: October 20–22, 2022 — held at Bangui’s Centre Culturel Samba‑Panza with over 6,000 attendees and diverse artists from Central Africa and Cameroon YouTube+4Music In Africa+4Idma+4.
3rd edition: October 2023 — further growth in attendance and programming, with the theme “Education through the Arts” lazoneafrique.com.
4th edition: April 19–25, 2025 — the first edition with a carnival that celebrated national diversity. The program featured a seven-day schedule, including music, dance, contests, storytelling, traditional games, workshops, exhibitions and evening performances at Bangui's 20,000-seat stadium, attracting thousands of participants, including artists with disabilities
